What is blogger.tell me about and wheather bloggeris like a personal website.?
Blogger.com is part of Google and the services that they provide. Once you've signed up for an Google account and created a blogger page your blog will appear on blogspot.com under the name that you give it. You can personalize you page and add features that you like to it. Not long ago they have also added gadgets that you can put on you page that can be used for more social networking. You can show who is following your blog and what blogs you follow as an example.
If you post your interests in your blogger profile you can follow the links and find others with the same interest, favorite book, artist and so on.

A Blogger posted a partial reprint of an email conversation without permission....?
Can they do this without repercussions? They took bits and pieces of my email conversation with them and posted it on their blog, mentioning my full name several times in a bad light, what should I do? They did this without my permission.

Send them and their ISP a DMCA violation notice. The sender of an e-mail automatically owns a copyright on the e-mail and thus the e-mail cannot be redistributed without permission from the author.
Reply:Who cares. Time to grow up. Remember words cant hurt you.
Reply:Maybe you could report them!
Reply:the e-mail you sent to them is now THEIR property to do with as they please....they may say that it was you and use only the parts they want...you can try and refute it BUT this is why they say the pen is mightier than the sword...when ever you write something it can get passed around...as long as they stick to the letter and the truth...you havent a case.....
They do not have a copyright as it is a correspondance directed and given to another person not a story or an article...
Reply:Since they where a party to the conversation they have every legal right to post it online. You can't sue for slander/libel since the information came directly from a conversation with you.
They could only get in trouble if they had secured the email without the consent of the parties involved. Since they're one of the parties they basicly gave themselves permission.
Also you don't have a copyright on the material. Copyright would only come in if they where copying a portion of a book/article/etc that you had published
Reply:If they slandered you(lied about what you said) then you have a cause of action...if they just reprinted what you said..there is no real claim.

Is Blogger banned in China?
I can't connect. Can't reach my blog on blogspot, either. Is this just an internet connection problem in Guanghzou or is it because of something else?
Is Blogger banned in China?
I live in Xiamen China and was unable to access your website. However, I was able to go to http://www.blogger.com without any problem. I used a proxy server (a common workaround for China censorship) and was able to visit your original website. This usually happens when China is censoring a website.
In short, it's probably censored.
Reply:I think its what you post is censord...not you
Reply:Not banned but censored. China is communist and the internet in general is heavily restricted.

I'm looking for opinions on blogger space. Which are the most user friendly sites?
I'm pretty new to blogging even though I spend a decent amount of time online whether it is for my job, personal research, shopping, email or whatever. I'm thinking of doing some of my personal journaling online. I had previously used easyjournal.com and found that many times when I want to view past entries it sends an error message and it takes a few tries to get it to work. Also, you have to pay a fee to upload photos and use other features. I'm thinking that I may start private and then move on to inviting other friends to view my entries and respond or contribute. What are your favorite sites that offer space? I've only recently taken a brief tour of eblogger.com and that looked intriguing. Thanks for opinions and input!

For a feature by feature comparison between Wordpress.com and Blogger.com (the two biggest free sites) see :
Reply:Try out Yahoo! 360. It allows you to have a profile that will let you Blog. It also has settings that you can either have it private, just friends or have everyone publicly see your profile, including the blog. Photos are free to upload onto Yahoo and you have the option to share your Photo Albums on your Yahoo! 360 Page. Hope this helps.
Reply:Yahoo! has its several good points, as does www.blogger.com, compare and contrast. Both, too, have those controls for who can look and who can't, who can reply and who can't, how much you can customize the look and how much you can leave it alone, and all that...Of course, both are free, so it certainly wouldn't hurt to have one of each.
There's also spaces.msn.com and my.opera.com
