Even when using a pseudonym, can the real name and identity of a blogger be traced? Can the identity of the original author be made public, either by tracing the IP address or some other method unknown to ordinary people like me?

YES so if your concerned be prepared to face the consequences of your action...this can be extremely bad in third world countries it best to let your like minded friends outside of the country do the blogging for you...they will still need the news from the inside this can be done with carefully constructed e-mail without them even knowing it's happening with preconstructed code words
