If you have Word 2007 there's a feature to publish straight from the word document. With earlier versions, Blogger for Word offers the same thing; you can get it here: http://buzz.blogger.com/bloggerforword.h...
ETA: A better way I've found is by going here: http://download.live.com/ - grab Windows Live Writer, set it up to use your Blogger account, then start a new post. i have a blog at blogger.com and from time to time i want to see the status of blog. the thing is, i dont know where to find my BLOG STATS option. when i went to my Dashboard, it isnt there. all i see is Post, Layout, and Setting, when i check on each of them, i dont see the line graph that shows my blog Stats.

Just edit the post and change the posting date to something like Year 2010 or so and save the changes..
So, that post will display on top of others until 2010 year.

Why won't Blogger let me use these templates?

I don't understand :/ The code for the template is on the above link.

on a few blogs i've seen this. when you type in the url there's this blank page with only an image on it and when you click on the image you come to the main blog with entries. i know it's some sort of coding, maybe javascript, but as far as i know blogger doesn't allow you to have multiple pages eg. blah.blogspot.com/index. can you provide me with a description of how to do this?

Why does the preview feature in blogger.com not work?
I write a blog using blogger.com. I want my postings to look as professional as possible, so I pay close attention to formatting. When I publish my post, it doesn't always look the same as when I preview it. Sometimes the margins are different. And the images aren't always in the same place. What good is a preview function if it doesn't reflect what the post is actaully going to look like? I looked all over blogger.com's help system, but could find no answer. Does anybody else have any experience with this?

Go to where it says ADD BLOG. To add a new set of pages. To add to a particular Blog, go to that Blog, and Click ADD POST. To add Comments to someone else's blog/post, Simply click ADD COMMENT. I hope that helps! ;)

www.imeem.com is a good one. You can create play lists and put them on blogs, myspace and other sites. You can upload your own music or do a search (from other peoples uploads) and put it on your music player. It's pretty cool and easy.
Once it's on the blog you can leave it there. All you have to do is log on to your imeem account if you want to update the music or rearrange it and it will automatically do it on your blog.

it seems that when i wanna post a blog post on blogger or even on multiply.com, the "internet explorer cannot display this webpage" page comes on.....
and just to make full use of this space, my comp's bios clock went hay wire, which makes me have to reset my comp's clock everytime i start up. when i turn on my comp, some bios screen come on...
i have set my bios clock already, but i need to find out what actually happened.

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. What you do with it is set up a bunch of files to be downloaded from a website. Also, in this case, one website can download from another. The path would be the URL of the FTP server (as example: ftp.websitename.com/files)

On my 360 page, I set up an RSS feed from my Blogger page. The feed shows up, but it only displays the oldest posts to my blog, not the newest.
Is there a fix for that?

You would get the code from the blog site, use the 'advance editor' option in FreeWebs, paste it in. And, learn enough coding to know where to type in the text, so that you don't completely mix up the code and make it so it doesn't work - that would be bad.
Also, be sure to get permission from the people who made the templates that its ok to use them on other sites like that.

I get free counters from Amazing Counters, and I don't know how to add this into my Blogger blog. I realize that I have to change some of the template, but I don't know exactly what to change. I have the code for the counter, if that's necessary information. I'd really appreciate some help. ^_^

2. Under Manage Blogs, click on Settings

Is there a way to switch a Blogger blog to another host...?
or whatever you call it, like Typepad? I don't want to lose my design that I paid someone to do for me, or my content. And I can't get at my blog now that Blogger changed. It just disappeared, and nothing I do will recover it. All I can do is renew my password, which is really not that helpful. Any thoughts?

I can't log into my google blogger account, and nothing in the Google help pages is working!!?
I have a google account and password, and I have a blogspot account....but every time I try to log in, it just takes me to a create-a-blog page. I tried to contact google for help, but I can't ever find a page to compose an email! I am about to throw something. I want all the text in my Blogger blog to be in Futura, but Blogger only gives me 6 crappy choices for fonts (Georgia, Times, Arial... boring!). Is there a way for me to customize my font? is the free version just as good as the paid version? My mom has typepad and i really like it but can't afford it right now. with the free blogger can i make it my own or does it make you choose goofy backgrounds and pre desgined headers?

As far as blogger goes, I don't think there is a paid site. I think every blogger.com account is free. With the blogger.com account you can do whatever you want with your site. You can change the backgrounds, the boarders, the type the color of the type, the different things displayed on the site etc...You can really do a lot to make it your own. Or you can try wordpress.com, but I've never been there. I hope this helped you. If you want, you can check out my blog. It's http://westonbellfamily.blogspot.com. You just have to go to the template and change

If you're wondering how to get the actual ads on your blog, you have to modify the code used for your blog template. I know you don't want to use code but I don't know of any other way. You basically have to take the code Google adSense generates for you when you set up a new ad. Then, copy that into the Template code used by Blogger. Paste it wherever you want them to show up. It's not hard just to try it one place and move it around until it looks good. If you need more help, drop me an email.

I have a Blogger account which I hadn't logged into in a while, and when I signed on just now, I went to look at my traffic stats, but the link I thought I remembered for visitor stats is nowhere to be found. Any clue where I should look?
