My friend made a blog on Blogger.com and his application got rejected. The reason mentioned was that he should own a domain in his name. Does this mean that blogs are not allowed for using Adsense?
Isnt Blogger.com an acceptable platform for Google Adsense program?

First of all, it's free. You can easily make a functional web-site from Blogger Template. If you choose toi switch to a custom domain, it's piece of cake. You can do it through your Blog. Check SETTINGS -- PUBLISHING. (more info on Google).
In Blogger, there's an automated function of implementing (addind) Adsense advertisements in the Blog...you can customize them as you like, and as many time as you like. Move them, delete them, change them....
If your friend Blog was rejected, he shold contact a Google team. They will work it out, if his Blog accepts their rules (which are really not strict).

Reply:Well think, if you owned a website that let people write about things, would you want them putting their own advertisements on your site to make money?
Many sites dislike them, owning your own domain erases the blogger.com image.
Most sites such as that will always be rejected, you need a proper website to place your OWN advertisements on, right? not someone elses.

You can always create another blogspot blog and apply for adsense again.
